Basketball Recap: Pinecrest Academy Cadence Sets Scoring Season-High Against Varsity Opponent

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pinecrest Academy Cadence). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 55-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aspen Larson, who went 8 for 13 on her way to 16 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sierra Larson, who posted eight points in addition to nine rebounds and four steals.
