It was a good run, but Amelia County unfortunately witnessed the end of their 16-match winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Poquoson Islanders. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Islanders when the teams met back in November of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Amelia County's loss dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Poquoson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

As of now, neither Amelia County nor the Islanders have any future games scheduled.
