Eastern Tech and Sparrows Point are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Mavericks will head out on the road to take on the Pointers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Eastern Tech lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Parkville, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's game. The Mavericks blew past the Knights 16-7 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mavericks.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sparrows Point). They walked away with an 11-7 win over Kenwood on Monday. The Pointers haven't had any issues with the Bluebirds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Eastern Tech's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Sparrows Point, their victory bumped their record up to 3-12.

Eastern Tech skirted past Sparrows Point 2-1 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
