The Plainfield South Cougars will face off against the Plainfield East Bengals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Plainfield South is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.9 points per game this season.

On Tuesday, Plainfield South came up short against Yorkville and fell 60-48. The Cougars have struggled against the Foxes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Plainfield South will have to contain Gianna Thompson as she made an impact in Plainfield East's last game. She shot 45% from the field on her way to 10 points.

Plainfield East's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Plainfield South, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
