Soccer Recap: Cuyahoga Falls Comes Up Short

Cuyahoga Falls lost against Revere back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Black Tigers came up short against the Minutemen, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Cuyahoga Falls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 404th, while Revere are ranked 80th).

Cuyahoga Falls is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. As for Revere, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 3-2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cuyahoga Falls will head out to take on Woodridge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Revere, they will take on Norton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Revere will be up against Norton's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.71 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
