Volleyball Recap: Mountainside Mavericks vs. Jesuit Crusaders
After flying high against Southridge two weeks ago, Mountainside came back down to earth. The Mountainside Mavericks came up short against the Jesuit Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mavericks of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Mountainside dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Jesuit, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.
Mountainside will face off against Beaverton at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Jesuit and Westview will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Westview will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Jesuit surely won't give up without a fight.
