Volleyball Recap: Bancroft-Rosalie Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Bancroft-Rosalie duked it out with Tekamah-Herman on Thursday. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Despite the loss, Bancroft-Rosalie saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jaylynn James had ten digs.

Maryn Paul went supernova For Tekamah-Herman., getting 16 digs and four aces. Paul is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Bancroft-Rosalie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tekamah-Herman, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Bancroft-Rosalie has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against North Bend Central on the 4th. As for Tekamah-Herman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Bergan Catholic on the 6th.
