Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountain View). They were the clear victors by a 22-8 margin over the Fabens Wildcats on Friday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 16-0 win last Wednesday.

Mountain View's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12. As for Fabens, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View will welcome San Elizario at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lobos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Fabens, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clint at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.45 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
