Bridge City had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns. This was payback for the Cardinals, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Bridge City can attribute much of their success to Kaylee Britten, who had 14 digs and three assists. Makenna Knight was another key player, getting five kills, four digs, and two blocks.

Bridge City's record now sits at 4-0. As for Hamshire-Fannett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Bridge City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Port Neches-Groves on the 15th. Hamshire-Fannett has also already played their next contest (against Dayton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
