There's no place like home for Mark Keppel, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the San Marino Titans 3-2. For the Aztecs, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Mark Keppel was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (101-94), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 14-25, 15-25, 25-22, 15-11.

When it comes to explaining why San Marino lost on Tuesday, don't look at Ryan Lee. Despite the final result, he had 26 digs and two assists. Those 26 digs gave Lee a new career-high.

Mark Keppel has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. San Marino's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-5.

After both having extra time off, Mark Keppel and Montebello will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court one another at 5:15 p.m. on March 11th. As for San Marino, they will challenge Gabrielino at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
