Volleyball Recap: Beamer Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Beamer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Rogers Rams, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2016.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-13.

Kiana Smiley paced Beamer's offense, picking up four kills. Smiley got some help from Leina El Hayek and her seven assists. Annette Sagale controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Beamer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Rogers, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Beamer and Jefferson will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rogers, they will venture away from home to square off against Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The game will give the Rams their first taste of in-conference action this season.
