Softball Recap: Sandy Valley Comes Up Short

Sandy Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-3 to the Tonopah Muckers. That's two games in a row now that the Sidewinders have lost by exactly 17 runs.

Sandy Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Tonopah, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandy Valley will take on Beatty at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sidewinders are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Tonopah, they will head out on the road to take on Indian Springs at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
