Baseball Game Preview: Greene County Tigers vs. Holt Ironmen

Greene County is 0-7 against Holt since March of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Greene County Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Holt Ironmen at 4:00 p.m. Holt took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Greene County, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Greene County faced off against Citronelle last Thursday. Greene County came out on top against Citronelle by a score of 9-4. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Holt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Aliceville, falling 17-3.

Greene County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Holt, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
