Baseball Recap: Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Covington Latin on Wednesday, Heritage Academy came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Calvary Christian Cougars by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-1. As for Calvary Christian, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-6.

Coincidentally, Heritage Academy and Calvary Christian will both be playing Pendleton County the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
