Lake Belton extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 8-3. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hutto Hippos. That's more bragging rights for the Broncos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Hutto, they now have a losing record of 6-7. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7.

Despite the loss, Hutto had strong showings from Tegan Coombs, who had 12 digs and one assist, and Kori Glasgow, who had four digs and two aces. Coombs is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Coincidentally, Lake Belton and Hutto will both be playing Johnson the next time they take the court. The Hippos will head out to face the Jaguars at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, while the Broncos will play them later in the day, at 3:15 p.m.
