Watersprings faced Butte County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Watersprings came out on top against Butte County by a score of 53-41. The victory was just business as usual for Watersprings, who after five games remain undefeated this season.

It was another big night for Ryan Demkowicz, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 23 points along with seven boards and five steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. Korban Nelson was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine assists.

Watersprings' win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Butte County, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.
