Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Anacoco's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

Anacoco won the last time they faced South Beauregard and things went their way on Friday too. The Anacoco Indians managed a 47-42 win over the South Beauregard Knights.

Anacoco has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-19 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for South Beauregard, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-23.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anacoco will venture away from home to challenge Pitkin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pitkin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Anacoco likes a good challenge. South Beauregard has already played their next contest (against Jennings), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
