Volleyball Recap: Animo South Los Angeles Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Animo South Los Angeles can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Wilson Mules on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since April 10th.

Prince Amir Kuumba paced Animo South Los Angeles' offense, picking up eight kills. Kuumba got some help from Jonathan Alas and his 17 assists.

Animo South Los Angeles now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Wilson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-10.

Animo South Los Angeles does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilson, they will take on Harbor Teacher at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Monarchs will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Mules surely won't give up without a fight.
