While George County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Moss Point Tigers 76-40 on Thursday. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for the Rebels this season.

Despite the loss, Moss Point had strong showings from Treylynn Anderson, who went 9-for-18 en route to 22 points and six rebounds, and Charles Nettles, who posted nine points. Nettles also put up three assists, which were his first of the season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for George County, bringing their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points over those games. As for Moss Point, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, George County will face off against Terry at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Rebels' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Moss Point, they have already played their next matchup, a 56-18 defeat against St. Paul's on the 6th.
