Basketball Recap: Fargo South Comes Up Short

Fargo South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fargo North Spartans. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (56), the Bruins still had to take the loss.

Fargo South's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Fargo North, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Fargo South will head out on the road to face off against West Fargo at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Fargo's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches. Fargo North has already played their next contest (against Sheyenne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
