Denby won against Central last Saturday with 27 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Denby Tars came out on top against the Cody Comets by a score of 27-15. That's more bragging rights for the Tars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Denby's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.5 points per game. As for Cody, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denby will head out to face off against Communication Media Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
