Softball Recap: Santiam Wolverines vs. East Linn Christian Academy Eagles
Santiam had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Boston Flores made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs while going 2-for-3.
