It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Chester had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Warner Monarchs 3-0. The Flyers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 15 straight.
Lily Van Hal paced Chester's offense, picking up 17 kills. Van Hal got some help from Jacy Wolf and her 17 assists. Kaytee Wold controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Several Monarchs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reagan Wood, who had 15 assists and 14 digs. Wood has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Tatum Hanson, who had 12 assists and ten digs.
Chester's win bumped their record up to 33-1. As for Warner, with the defeat, they broke their eight-match winning streak and moved their record to 34-7.
As of now, neither Chester nor the Monarchs have any future games scheduled.
