Basketball Recap: Cony Comes Up Short

Cony and Hampden squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cony had to settle for second. They fell to the Hampden Broncos 42-38. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Broncos earlier this season, when they won 58-40.

Cony's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Hampden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Cony does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hampden, they will square off against Camden Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
