Softball Recap: Ryle's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Ryle was riding high fresh off their 16-0 takedown of Dixie Heights last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Ryle fell just short of the Campbell County Camels by a score of 5-3 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Camels: they've now lost six in a row.

Kiley Patterson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ryle fell to 2-1-1. As for Campbell County, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Ryle will face off against Scott at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Campbell County, they will square off against Notre Dame Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
