Maroa-Forsyth finds playoff glory versus Shelbyville

Recap: Maroa-Forsyth Trojans vs. Shelbyville Rams

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans walked away with it. They secured a 44-40 W over the Rams on Monday. The victory was nothing new for Maroa-Forsyth as they're now sitting on four straight.

When it comes to explaining why Shelbyville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dru Clark. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 19 points and 17 rebounds. Clark hasn't dropped below 11 rebounds for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzie Jones, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Maroa-Forsyth has been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 19 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. As for Shelbyville, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-17.

Maroa-Forsyth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Shelbyville also has no future games currently scheduled.
