West Bladen is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Farmville Central 68-66.

West Bladen's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Williams, who posted 18 points. The match was Williams' fifth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Pait, who scored 17 points.

Meanwhile, Northwood entered their tilt with Southwest Onslow on Friday with 17 consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 18. They enjoyed a cozy 59-44 win over the Stallions.

West Bladen better keep an eye on Cam Fowler. He was instrumental in Northwood's win, going 13-for-25 on his way to 28 points and five boards. Fowler has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last three times he's played.
