Baseball Recap: Moreau Catholic Takes a Loss

Moreau Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the James Logan Colts. That's two games in a row now that the Mariners have lost by just one run.

Micah Marks was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Moreau Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for James Logan, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.
