Marcus came out on top against Pearce on Friday thanks in part to Colton Nussmeier's efforts. Nussmeier threw for 240 yards and one touchdown while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards. The performance also marked the most passer rating (129.1) he has had since back in September of 2024.

Nussmeier and Marcus will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. Nussmeier will face off against Tre Williams, the Farmers' star signal caller. With these two excellent players competing for bragging rights, there's bound to be some exciting action on the field.
