Volleyball Recap: Providence Classical Christian Comes Up Short

If Providence Classical Christian was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Evergreen Lutheran back in September, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Highlanders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fellowship Christian Eagles on Wednesday. The Highlanders haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

While Providence Classical Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 20-25, 25-20.

Providence Classical Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fellowship Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Providence Classical Christian will face off against Northwest Christian at 6:30 p.m. on the 9th. As for Fellowship Christian, they will head out to challenge Lopez at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
