After having lost a blowout in their previous game against River Valley, Pleasant was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Elgin Comets. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered a 10-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Faith Staley was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Maddie Pendleton, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
