Baseball Recap: Pearl-Cohn Takes a Loss

Pearl-Cohn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Stratford Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss on Friday.

Pearl-Cohn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Stratford, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Pearl-Cohn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stratford, they will venture away from home to challenge White House-Heritage on Wednesday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
