Basketball Game Preview: Bellevue Wolverines vs. West Valley Rams

The Bellevue Wolverines will take on the West Valley Rams at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Bellevue is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.

Bellevue is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Mount Si, who was ranked 13th at the time (Bellevue was ranked seventh). Bellevue walked away with a 55-44 victory over Mount Si on Friday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Valley). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Eisenhower 91-54. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.

West Valley has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Bellevue, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.
