Southeast of Saline gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They never let the Republic County Buffaloes get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Buffaloes, too.
Kyiah Samuelson was a standout: she scored three runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Kimber Ogorzolka, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Southeast of Saline always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .846. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Republic County only posted an OBP of .000.
This is the second loss in a row for Republic County and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
