Queen's Grant is 0-4 against Hickory Grove Christian since March of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Stallions will head out to challenge the Lions at 4:30 p.m. Queen's Grant is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.6 runs per game this season.

Queen's Grant is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Union Preparatory on Wednesday. They lost 17-2 to the Polar Bears. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nicole Strickland-Mitchell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hickory Grove Christian). They blew past Monroe 24-3 back in March. The high-scoring effort was just what the Lions needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Queen's Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Hickory Grove Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6.

Queen's Grant suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Hickory Grove Christian when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Can the Stallions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
