Influx of talented transfers ignites the Flame on national stage.

Although No. 13 West Oaks Academy (Orlando, Fla.) lost last season's top three scorers, an influx of elite transfers place the Flame firmly in the mix for a GEICO Nationals invite.

A program on the rise, Kenny Gillion's team finished 28-7 with wins over top 10 teams Oak Hill Academy (Mouth Of Wilson, Va.) and Prolific Prep (Napa, Calif.).

Top returner A.J. Neal is joined by elite sophomore forwards Matt and Ryan Bewley, along with Wesley Cardet, Jahsean Colbert, Justin Neely, Jordan Shorter and 6-foot-3 senior guard J.J. Harris in the backcourt.

The Flame have the potential to ascend the rankings with a challenging national schedule, a grueling Sunshine Interscholastic Athletic Association slate along with a trip to the Beach Ball Classic and a few stops on the Grind Session circuit.

West Oaks Academy's mix of size, depth and talent could make them a tough out on the national stage.
