Volleyball Recap: Mt. Abraham Takes Down Ranked Randolph + How To Watch

Mt. Abraham faced Randolph in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Ghosts 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (105-99) Mt. Abraham actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 19-25, 15-25, 15-13.

Mt. Abraham's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Randolph, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mt. Abraham is set to challenge their familiar foe Montpelier at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Randolph will take on rival Harwood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
