Baseball Game Preview: St. Joseph Flyers vs. Pleasanton Eagles

The St. Joseph Flyers will take on the Pleasanton Eagles in a tournament on Thursday. Pleasanton took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Joseph, who comes in off a win.

St. Joseph had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Jones 7-5.

Mark Olguin was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Pleasanton might've scored the first runs on Monday, but it was TMI-Episcopal who claimed the real prize. Pleasanton fell just short of TMI-Episcopal by a score of 4-2.

Max Wiggins made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
