Volleyball Recap: Foxcroft Comes Up Short

Foxcroft lost against Tandem Friends back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Foxcroft took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tandem Friends. Foxcroft has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 24-26, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Foxcroft saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sophie Arellano had 22 digs and one assist.

Foxcroft now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Tandem Friends, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foxcroft will host Highland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tandem Friends, they will face off against Randolph-Macon Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
