Volleyball Recap: KIPP Legacy's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If KIPP Legacy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southeast last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. KIPP Legacy came up short against the Plattsburg Tigers on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to KIPP Legacy of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-7, 25-3.

Among those leading the charge was Izzy Parra, who had eight digs and six aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, KIPP Legacy fell to 2-1. As for Plattsburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season.

KIPP Legacy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Plattsburg, they will take on Penney at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
