Basketball Recap: Shrine Catholic Takes a Loss

Shrine Catholic lost against Everest Collegiate back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Shrine Catholic Knights fell 43-35 to Everest Collegiate. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while Everest Collegiate are ranked 110th).

Shrine Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Everest Collegiate, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.

Shrine Catholic will host Cabrini at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Cabrini's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Everest Collegiate, they will take on Roeper at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
