Soccer Recap: Winnetonka Takes a Loss

Winnetonka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Kearney Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that Winnetonka have lost by exactly six goals.

Winnetonka's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Kearney, their win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winnetonka will take on Grandview at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Winnetonka will be up against Grandview's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.5 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kearney, they will square off against Smithville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
