Mount de Sales Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans by a score of 2-0. The Cavaliers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Mount de Sales Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14.

Laura Sparks paced Mount de Sales Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Sparks got some help from Payton Latimer and her 12 assists. Sparks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Mount de Sales Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Tattnall Square Academy, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Mount de Sales Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Central Georgia Arts on the 14th. Tattnall Square Academy has also already played their next match (against Crawford County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
