Recap: Lewisville Lions vs. Central Eagles
The Lewisville Lions put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 63-47 win over Central. Given Lewisville's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Central is ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Central's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Dwayne Louallen, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Tazhir Webber who scored 21 points. The match was Webber's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Demetrius Myers, who scored five points along with four steals.
Lewisville's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Lewisville will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Whitmire at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th. Central will be home for the holidays to greet McBee at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. McBee is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
