Volleyball Recap: West Point Takes a Loss

If West Point was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Apollo on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dragons fell 3-1 to the Shadow Ridge Stallions on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Dragons in their meetings with the Stallions: they've now lost three in a row.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Shadow Ridge, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

West Point will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Boulder Creek at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Shadow Ridge, they will challenge Estrella Foothills at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
