Desert Mirage is 7-1 against West Shores since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Desert Mirage RAMS will be playing in front of their home fans against the West Shores Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Desert Mirage and eight for West Shores dating back to last season.

Desert Mirage is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Palo Verde Valley on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Desert Mirage came up short against Palo Verde Valley, falling 68-43. The RAMS were down 59-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

The losing side was boosted by Edy Espinoza, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Victor Figueroa, who had eight points.

Meanwhile, West Shores came up short against Palm Valley on Thursday, falling 44-19.

West Shores' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Desert Mirage, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Everything went Desert Mirage's way against West Shores in their previous meeting last Thursday, as Desert Mirage made off with a 48-24 victory. Will Desert Mirage repeat their success, or does West Shores have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
