Volleyball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Ellinwood Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Celtics of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2019.

Trinity may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored seven points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-7.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 3-29-1. As for Ellinwood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 38-0.

Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ellinwood, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Wichita County on the 20th.
