Skyview dropped down to 16-7 on Saturday, ending the team's 12-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Battle Mountain Huskies, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wolverines have suffered since September 11th.

Analise Barros paced Skyview's offense, picking up six kills. Barros got some help from Marissa Becerra and her eight assists. Finally, Barros was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

As for Battle Mountain, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-3. They not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since October 24th (when they won 3-0).

Among those leading the charge was Evie Steinberg, who had 12 digs and four assists.

Coincidentally, Skyview and Battle Mountain will both be playing Thompson Valley the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will head out to face the Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Huskies will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
