Softball Game Preview: Pepin/Alma vs. Boyceville Bulldogs

Pepin/Alma will venture away from home to face off against the Boyceville Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Pepin/Alma's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Boyceville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Pepin/Alma is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Blair-Taylor just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Boyceville waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Hilltoppers.

Pepin/Alma's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Boyceville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Pepin/Alma took their win against Boyceville when the teams last played back in May of 2019 by a conclusive 8-1 score. Will Pepin/Alma repeat their success, or does Boyceville has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
