Football Recap: Colts Neck Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Colts Neck was the 33-0 winner over Matawan Regional when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars lost to the Huskies on the road by a 28-14 margin on Friday.

Despite the loss, Colts Neck still got an impressive performance from Zack Caporale, who rushed for 69 yards and one TD, and also threw for 105 yards while completing 82.4% of his passes.

Colts Neck's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Matawan Regional, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Colts Neck will head out to take on Freehold Boro at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cougars will be up against the Colonials' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Matawan Regional, they will welcome Raritan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
